Rippey United Methodist Church Choir Dedicates Cantata to Memory of Velda DeMoss, December 14, 2014

The choir from the Rippey United Methodist Church presented a cantata on December 14, 2014 in memory of Velda DeMoss.

On December 14, 2014, the Rippey United Methodist Church Choir, under the direction of Brenda Roberts and accompanist, Angela Abbas, presented the cantata, “Were You There on That Christmas Night,” by Lloyd Larson. The cantata was dedicated in memory of Velda DeMoss.  Velda was a dear person to us all.  She served her church and her community with such love and servitude.  We were blessed with her voice in our tenor section for so many years, along with a healthy dose of her wit.  We thank the many people who came to hear the performance.
