Rippey Lions Club Hold First Meeting of the Year, September 5, 2019

The meetings for the 2019-2020 year have begun for the Rippey Lions Club. They meet on the first and third Mondays for a fine meal and good programs. They are always looking for new members!!

  The Rippey Lions held its first fall meeting with a potluck and grilled meal. Lyle Rychnovsky was a guest at the meeting. Rick Liebich, President, led the business meeting and included corrections in the schedule for the 2019-2020 year. He presented Dale Hanaman with a Lions Club pin in recognition of his leadership as treasurer, coordinating the BRR ride food and other activities.  Dale presented the program on the historical markers in Greene County and shared the history of each marker. Those present were given one of the maps that notes where markers are located that was updated  in 2004 by the Greene County Historical Society.  The next meeting will be on Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. with a meal served by women of the Rippey UMC.
